The coaches from RIC should be smiling from ear to ear after securing a talent like Santiago. What’s nice about this move for Jaizzy is that plenty of family and friends can be in attendance for her games. What a snag for RIC.

Jaizzy went from having some pf the local schools reaching out to now receiving scholarship level offers from highly touted Division II programs in what seems like no time. Ever since getting a chance to watch her in person, it was abundantly clear what type of serious difference maker she is. This season Santiago has stepped her game up even further, breaking a school record, lighting up defenses at an even more distinguished level all while the team is more competitive team. Jaizzy has been phenomenal for MSC; she’s one of the scariest players to face right now.

Jaizzy has been on roll lately. Not only is she being mentioned for leading the team in a historical night, but she also scored her 1000th point recently. Santiago led all scorers as the team set a record hitting 3-pointers. MSC hit 17 and Santiago had 7 of those. Look for Santiago to keep all this momentum up going into 2026. The senior is one of the more talented uncommitted guards in the region. She’ll be intriguing to watch through the rest of the season.

Santiago has come out swinging this season. She’s been showing why she’s considered one of the premier playmakers in Rhode Island. Jaizzy has been effective knocking down shots on the catch or off the bounce. Plus, she’s still displaying that signature crafty handle she’s known for as she gets to her spots. Even with her finding herself playing more of an off-guard position lately Jaizy has still been just as notable. One of her more eye-catching moments early on this season was her 7 bigtime 3-pointers in the MSC’s matchup vs Austin Prep. Santiago should certainly be receiving more calls from schools. She’s showing she can be a verstile guard and can certainly aid a program that’s in need of a creative upbeat guard.

Jaizzy has emerged as a major early-season standout, leading her team to a 60–59 win over St. Andrews with 22 points and four threes. A skilled shot creator who can score at all three levels, she also operates as a strong floor general who elevates her teammates and keeps the offense flowing. Defensively, she’s an aggressive on-ball presence who’s tough to beat off the dribble. Already holding an offer from Rhode Island College, her senior season will be one to watch.

The lead scorer in a big game for MSC over St. Andrew’s. She was a large factor early on, finding her groove and getting ti her spots comfortably. Santiago was able to create for hereof and make plays for others while providing difference making defense too. It was hard to stop the rain; Jaizzy had 4 impactful 3-pointers and finished with 22 points to help get the 60-59 vi tory. The conference should look out with the senior playing this way.

Jaizzy is a tenacious defender who follows the ball wherever it goes, either stealing it herself and pushing the pace or putting her teammates in position to pick off passes. On offense, she’s super shifty, able to blow right by defenders to get all the way to the basket or stop for a smooth mid-range pull-up. Jaizzy also shoots with confidence from anywhere on the court, making her a tough matchup on both ends.

Santiago was just featured in a recent article previewing guards to look forward to in the weekend. Fastforward a few days and look who’s here again? Jaizzy looked absolutely stunning showing her 2-way dynamic ability in a few matchups. She has a hunger for the game and that’s an extra trait that raises her level of play. This is exactly the type of player college coaches need on their roster. She relishes in big moments, plus she provides a stable control over the pace of the game. This weekend was just another example of why she needs to be on some recruiting boards. Jaizzy was a main focus of the opposing teams faced and was an utter force that was hard to contain.
