Jakayla really impressed me in the action I’ve seen this weekend. She was matched up against a big post and held her own by being physical and using her high athleticism to her advantage. JJ tired her opponent out by constantly cutting and working the high post and free throw line well with her spacial awareness. Her rebounding and shot blocking were on full display as well. She showed the ability to step out and knock down the mid-range and long range shot, too.
