Jalisa “Juju” Booth (2028) | Guard/Wing | Suffield
What a great 1-2 punch the twins Jazlynn and Juju are. This year they’ve been on a tear, matching up with the toughest talent around while finding success. They’ve both played a major role for Suffield this season and remain lethal tandem threats for the opponents.
Juju has seemingly found her stride as a 2-way challenger that makes timely plays on both sides of the ball. For a perimeter player, she’s quite the rebounder. Booth has a strong frame plus has ample athleticism to fight through boxouts. She’ll also come flying in from the weakside to snatch bouncing balls, deflating the opponents’ moral. Even though she’s been contributing steadily on the offensive side of the ball, what’s been impressive is her suffocating defense. Booth has really made a name for herself as an aggressive agitator that provokes mishaps in the offense. Lockdown defender is a badge she should certainly have. Her defense contributes to easy points and speeds up the game for her team in transition. Theres not many players that get the better of Booth either. This alone makes her a captivating player.
