had a 2000 point career which is phenomenal for anyone, but it’s incredibly special for this point guard who missed a season after an ACL tear. She is so efficient handling the ball knowing where to go with it finding her open teammates or creating some space for her own shot. She can knock it down from deep off the dribble or the pass, and she gets inside finding the opening for some tough shots at the rim. She’s quick with the ball being able to push the tempo when needed.

Jamyia Lindsey is a player who was catching the eyes of college coaches early on in her high school career as she is such a shifty ball handler. You can tell the ball just belongs in her hands with the way she can open up some space losing defenders with her change of direction moves. She has a nice shot from all over the court being able to pull up quickly to get the open look, and she makes smart adjustments to get the ball to her teammates.

Jamyia plays with an unreal passion that you don’t see very often on the floor. She has that refuse to lose attitude that coaches want to see from their leaders. She does an excellent job of finishing through contact. She knows how to draw the foul when she attacks and had multiple “and-1” plays during Saturday’s contest. She has a beautiful mid range game and she can stretch the floor with her 3 point shooting. She is an amazing ball handler and has no problem dribbling in traffic and finishing over 2 defenders.

went down with an injury to her ACL this grassroots season, but she is definitely still a player to keep on your radar. She had a breakout freshman season showing all kinds of handles with the ball to lead her team, and she can certainly knock down some shots from deep. Her ability to change directions quickly with her body makes her tough to defend. She’s a tenacious defender knocking the ball away from her opponents when they try to dribble around her.
