is a point forward, born to be a guard but forced to play power forward. Her dominance for her talented Hillcrest team this season allowed her to be the best power forward in Alabama this year and one of the top players in the state. Her ability to break guards down one-on-one is elite, and she also has one of the most killer mentalities I have seen from anyone in Alabama this season.

is a versatile forward who brings both versatility and leadership. She has made a lot of noise going into this season. Her ability to be a playmaker and a scorer, while also playing numerous roles on a championship-contending team, is one of the main reasons this Hillcrest team looks unbeatable heading into the playoffs. Jareah’s ability to lead games in different ways allows her team to have success in each matchup. She leads by example in multiple ways, whether it’s scoring the most points on the team or holding the best scorer on the opposing team to the least amount of points. You never know what she’s going to bring to each game, but with her unselfishness, it leads to wins. That skill is crucial for achieving victory. With

continuing to play like this, I have no doubt Hillcrest can bring home the state 7A championship after knocking on that door for two years straight.

I’m continuously more and more impressed with this kid! The Alabama Miss Basketball Runner-Up not only has a size, length and athleticism of a D1 kid, but her skill set is expanding quickly! She’s the type of kid that relied on her athleticism to make plays….and now she’s relying on her skill with the knowledge that her athleticism opens up an abundance of opportunities that other kids just can’t get to. She averaged 12 points, 7 assists, and 7 rebounds!!

as a Ms. Basketball candidate in Alabama, but knowing and actually seeing are two very different things. Branch is a STAR. I have an affinity for players that can play a multitude of roles, and Branch is gifted in her diversity. She has the size and strength to play bully ball at the rim. She has a skill set that allows her to be a creative finisher in the paint. She’s got the entire bag of finishes and nice floater. Her jumper is smooth, and she can get it it lighting quick off the dribble. She was the best play on the floor A LOT this weekend.

is a high level 2-way combo guard. Branch is more than capable of defending an opposing teams best player, while also producing at an elite level offensively. Branch has special physical gifts, lead by her length, that make her a handful both to defend and as a defender.

is a standout prospect due to her exceptional skills and athletic abilities. Despite standing at 5’11, she uses her size to her advantage and thrives in various aspects of the game. Branch is an outstanding shooter, particularly from beyond the arc, and her skills in the paint are equally impressive. She has a strong presence on the court and can easily dominate her opponents. Branch’s footwork is impressive and allows her to get past defenders with ease. She has good court vision, allowing her passes help get point on the board by giving the ball to open teammates. Lot of teams try to double team her due to her amazing talents which allows her to pursue other basketball techniques to help her team win. Nevertheless, her all-round game is remarkable, and she is a rare talent who can excel in every aspect of the game. With such a set of skills and potential, Branch is undoubtedly one of the most promising prospects to watch out for in the future. Branch will continue to thrive in every category of the game and will soon pave the way to other young hoopers coming up after her.
