Brown uses her defensive position well seeing the full court and knowing when to make her move to jump in front of passes to get the possession for her team. She does well on offense moving block to block looking for the entry pass. Her wide stance is sure to seal off her opponents to make her an easy target for the dish, and she uses good footwork to get into position to score a bucket. She can also knock down her midrange jumper.

Jasmine Brown finishes out the sophomore trio we have from Albemarle. She is a hustler getting back on defense being able to block shots in transition. On offensive fast breaks, she is ready for the pass barreling down the lane ready to put up the shot in the paint. It’s definitely a normal thing for her to get a double-double sealing off her opponents for the entry pass and boxing them out for the rebound. She does a nice job getting the ball on the block, drawing defenders, and finding her open teammate around the perimeter for the shot.
