Jayla Page Jayla Page 5'8" | CG Dutchtown | 2028 State LA ‘s defensive game gives me something to talk about in this LSUE camp group! The 2028 Dutchtown combo guard has earned scouting recognition for moving her feet, staying in front of ball handlers, and closing quickly on shooters. Her ability to take away space can make an offensive player rethink a drive or rush a shot. As a coach, I appreciate that kind of discipline. Staying connected to your assignment and making someone work for a clean look can help a team possession after possession. That’s Jayla’s connection to “Closing Camp Season, Opening Doors.” Defense is a skill worth putting in front of a college staff, and LSUE provided another opportunity to do that. Her defensive foundation makes her a prospect I want to keep tracking as she develops the rest of her game. Keep sharpening those tools, Jayla—making buckets difficult has real value!
