Deuesenberry will be trouble for teams. A lot of trouble. OVAC. MSAC. EPAC. NCAA Division II and I, eventually. Her blend of strength and athleticism makes her a terror on the court. Her strength allows her to dominate an opposing guard with her fast hands and the ability to body up anyone at the 1 through 3 spot. She can shoot the lights out of the gym. Combine her gifts with the team that Morgantown has put around her, and there are going to be a lot of nights where she will overwhelm an opponent when her abilities are combined with her teammates. The Mohigans can run a veritable buffet of offenses this year, and whether she shoots the ball or not, teams MUST account for where this young lady is on the court at all times. In addition to all of her other gifts, her off-ball movement is fantastic. If I had to pick another dark horse contender for the Mary O Award besides Bibs Felton, Deunsenberry could become said player by the end of the year.

Sydney recorded a double-double in the win over Cabell Midland. She netted 11 points and hauled in 11 rebounds. The young athlete got her teammates involved early. Deusenberry has great court vision and that was noticed in all 6 of her assists. Sydney also recorded 3 steals and 2 blocks. Defensively, she does a great job reading the passing lanes. She is a good two-way athlete that college coaches should soon be all over!
