I like what I saw from McCray’s game at The Expo. Strong, tough, and physical, McCray asserted her will, both in the post and on the glass, with the ability to deliver contact and finish through contact at the hoop. As a freshman, McCray averaged almost 7 boards a game and could end up as one of the Metro Classic’s top rebounders this season.

The 5-10 forward is an undersized frontcourt prospect but has the size to handle defending physical players around the basket. McCray is willing to initiate contact and handle herself well on both ends of the floor. I also like how aggressive she is offensively and how she handles playing through contact, which helps her get to the free-throw line. She’s an intriguing player who can give her coach options on how they want to defend.

Jazmyne consistently put pressure on defenses with her combination of ball-handling and driving ability. She attacked with purpose and showed confidence creating offense off the bounce. Her ability to change pace and direction helped her get where she wanted on the floor. Jazmyne’s aggressive approach made her a difficult matchup throughout Sunday’s games.

Jazzy made a great impression with 4C Sports Academy 15U at the Great Lakes Kickoff with her relentless rebounding effort. She worked for positioning inside with an endless motor and scored multiple putbacks once she grabbed the rebound. Jazzy scored an and-one jumper through contact on the block, then completed the three-point play at the line. Her pressure in the backcourt forced a turnover, and Jazzy secured an important defensive rebound down the stretch with strong hands.
