Saying that Jeneva Gregory Jeneva Gregory 5'4" | PG Little Rock Mills | 2026 State AR has gone through a lot over the past several months is an understatement. I cannot fathom how difficult last year was for her, but I have a profound respect for the way she was able to push through. Her resilience is evident, especially on the court, where she has helped Mills thrive.

Gregory led Mills in assists, steals, was all-conference, and was an all-state honorable mention last season. She is a remarkable defender who is often tasked with guarding the opposition’s best guards. Some of the most well-rounded performances included a 5-steal outing against Fountain Lake, a 7-assist game versus Malvern, and a 6-assist and 3-steal showing against Heber Springs.

Gregory is a pass-first guard on offense, always finding ways for her teammates to score. On the other end of the floor, Gregory is a pest, stripping the ball directly from the grasp of opposing guards. She is also a great rebounder. She does not give up on plays, putting a miss back on the offensive glass, or ending a possession for the opposition on the other side.

Jeneva Gregory Jeneva Gregory 5'4" | PG Little Rock Mills | 2026 State AR received her first collegiate offer from Northeast Mississippi back in August, and I do not see any reason why she does not receive more in her junior season. There are not many good floor generals in high school basketball, but Gregory is one of the few that excels in that role.

Gregory knows how to set up an offense. As just a sophomore, she controlled the pace of the game better than most upperclasswomen, and possibly on par with some college guards. Gregory can slow the game down, and then speed it up whenever she sees fit. Since the ball is always in her hands, and since she is an underrated scorer (I will talk about that in a second), Gregory knows when the defense will collapse on her. Once it does, she will distribute the ball to an open teammate for an easy assist. Gregory loves to set up her teammates from inside and out, so it would not be surprising if she averaged double-digits assists as a junior.

Like I mentioned earlier, Gregory can score. She can hit threes off the dribble with a high arch and a quick release. Gregory can also drive inside with a burst of speed and easily finish past the defense.
