Constant is a “long and athletic” guard who has already mastered the “stop and pop” in transition. She scores off the dribble, understands how to set he defender to attack the basket with either hand and even better, she finishes with both hands, after contact. Her body control is nice, so is her court vision plus she does a good job defending “on the ball” baseline to baseline
Highlights
Khalia Randle
Khalia Randle
Randle immediately grabbed my attention with her “never takes a play off” mindset. She goes hard, on both ends, no matter wat the score is, her on the ball pressure baseline to baseline was solid yet she also did a good job playing the passing lane. She’s an athletic guard who understands how to use her athleticism on both ends and she attacked the basket strongly off the dribble to finish or dish
Hall continues to elevate her game like she’s elevating on her jumper and one thing that I can always count on when I catch her is that she applies heat, on both ends, from the start of the game until it’s over, never takes a play off. Her “on the ball” pressure can be smothering at times and it helps to create turnovers yet I’m digging her showing she can attack and finish to keep the defenders guessing because the pull-up jumper, from mid to long range is there
Gregory showed something I love to see and that’s SWB, speed with the ball, because as she blew by defenders in the open court, she stayed under control and threaded the needle between players to give her teammates good looks without breaking a stride. Her court vision in the set was also solid, she has a nice first step to get to the basket and at times, finished acrobatically. Here’s the hashtag #sizedontmatter when you can play, she can flat out play
Moss showed she was a BOSS several times as she sliced by defenders from multiple angles to score, yes after contact but she’s also “long and athletic” which is the base and her adding the short jumper in the paint had me smiling, yet she also showed she could drop it deeper. She saw the floor, she played the passing lane and she did a good job defensively, as well as rebounding on both ends
White gets the cover photo because she continues to show she’s becoming harder to cover and when you can find ways to put the ball into the basket from the guard spot, that’s big because she scores off the dribble and finishes after the lick yet she also can outrebound taller players and score on putbacks. She did a good job seeing the floor in the court, as well as in the set and watching her drop it from outside with ahand in her face will have her JEFFERSONIZED in the rankings, Movin On Up
