Jenna Benjamin Jenna Benjamin 5'4" | PG/SG Yutan | 2026 State NE and Yutan High School are ready to go for their 2025-2026 high school season. Benjamin just transferred back for her Senior year after winning a State Title last season with a different program and she should make easy work of her competition in front of her. The teams and prospects that Benjamin will play against should be simple compared to what she was facing last season at Skutt Catholic. If she stays aggressive with her quick hands defensively, she should eat on that side of the ball, averaging near double-digits in the Steals department throughout the Winter. I’m sure that defense will lead into her offense, where she should be in the double-digits each game as well. If you are a Yutan fan there is a lot to like this Winter about this team. They will have a chance to take things all the way if they play their cards correctly.

Jenna Benjamin Jenna Benjamin 5'4" | PG/SG Yutan | 2026 State NE will be a collegiate athlete. It just depends for which sport at this point. Benjamin, as well as being as respectable hooper, is a killer on the soccer pitch. She competes with a ton of energy, impressive endurance, and a smart head on her shoulders when it comes to the strategy of the game. After coming off of a State Title at Skutt, Benjamin will be back with her Yutan program to finish off her high school career in the C2 Class. Benjamin should make easy work on this Class and most of the matchups she will face but we will see. If she does help Yutan make a big run, who knows who might come knocking with interest before everything is said and done.

Jenna Benjamin Jenna Benjamin 5'4" | PG/SG Yutan | 2026 State NE is coming off of a State Title with Skutt Catholic. To following that has received from love from the D3 and NAIA loves at the college ranks. To end last week, Benjamin received one of her first offers to Grand View University out of Des Moines. As a recruit, this is a player that loves to get after it defensively. She can be a weapon in multiple ways on both sides of the ball but she really thrives as being a stopper on the defensive side. Her endurance, first step quickness, and willingness to be one of the first on the floor makes her a tough opponent to deal with for an entire contest. She is going to be a solid player when she gets to the college level, where-ever it may be because defense translates.

Jenna Benjamin Jenna Benjamin 5'4" | PG/SG Yutan | 2026 State NE picked up her first official offer last night to compete at the next level following high school. This offer was to Southwestern College in Kansas. Like we always say, this might be the first but I don’t think it’s going to be the last for Benjamin. Coming off of a State Title and Benjamin is still hungry to become the best version of herself. Right now she is currently just training in her off-season but I think she will still receive love from the college levels over the next few months. I know a handful of coaching staffs that have asked about Jenna in the past and they all seem to still have interest. As long as she continues to be herself and play the game the right way, it should all work out for the best.

By the time that Skutt Catholic got into the Championship last week, Jenna Benjamin Jenna Benjamin 5'4" | PG/SG Yutan | 2026 State NE was logging in consistent minutes on the Varsity floor while helping her team to a title. Benjamin, a 5’4 CG, is willing to do whatever is needed for her team to have success. She is one of those that doesn’t look for credit, instead all she wants is everyone to feast together and that’s a teammate that everyone loves to compete with. As a skill-set, Benjamin is discipline defensively and she is lock-down on most opposing guards she has had to face this Winter. Offensively she can get to her spots and finish at the bucket, she can facilitate for those around her, and she produce off the ball if need be as well. She is a stronger driver when determined and she seems to always make an impact when mentally locked in. This AAU season Benjamin will compete with OSA out of Omaha. She should join this roster as one of the most complete players. We will have to see where she can take things from there.

Skutt Catholic has kicked off their season how you would imagine, killing their competition. Someone that has transferred over to this program for the next two seasons is Jenna Benjamin Jenna Benjamin 5'4" | PG/SG Yutan | 2026 State NE and she is getting a lot of playing time at this point in the year. Benjamin is a player that is usually asked to guard the best opposing prospect on the other squad, while also being an avid contributor on offense. In this new system, it’s going to open some doors for Benjamin over time. If she continues to work, she is going to like how things continue to unfold moving forward.

What Jenna Benjamin brings to the table is positive energy, solid play in both the half and full courts, and a ton of heart. During our showcase, Benjamin had her moments of standing out as a respectable prospect in most facets of the game. She was able to play on or off the ball, she was playing the game how it should be played, and she made the most of her opportunities. With her transfer to Skutt Catholic this school year, it’s going to be interesting to see how Benjamin fits into their system. I think this is a really positive situation for both parties, they just need to work on their chemistry moving forward and then the success will follow.

Jenna Benjamin Jenna Benjamin 5'4" | PG/SG Yutan | 2026 State NE of Skutt Catholic is a player that demonstrates great balance and footwork when shooting the ball from deep, she can take her defender off of the dribble and finish, or she can attack the opponent and create an opportunity for the others around her at a steady rate. I think the best part of Benjamin’s game is her versatility. She is someone that can catch on fire from deep in a hurry with her quick release against both zone or man defenses or she can dribble up the rock and play the PG, running her team’s offense. Skutt Catholic always puts together productive seasons and I don’t expect this one to be any different. For Benjamin individually, I expect her to average good numbers moving into the future and that should get some eyes on her from a recruitment perspective before you know it.

Whenever I bring up Yutan High School, I bring up some of their main prospects that I have seen but someone that everyone needs to keep an eye on is guard, Jenna Benjamin Jenna Benjamin 5'4" | PG/SG Yutan | 2026 State NE . Benjamin is another prospect for this team with a three level scoring ability offensively, a better than average passing ability, she doesn’t settle, and she can handle at a consistent rate. This AAU season, Benjamin is compete with her Nebraska D-League AAU program and she has been really solid. This is someone that I don’t know the most about but from what I’ve seen, she brings a lot of positives to the floor and she is more skilled than a lot of others I’ve seen at this age.
