It seems like Mylee Tichota Mylee Tichota 5'10" | PG Yutan | 2026 State NE has been around forever since she helped the Chieftains win the 2024 Class C-2 state championship when they upset Crofton. On Friday, Tichota proved that even on an off shooting night she can still have a huge impact on a basketball game. In Yutan’s 55-36 win over Valentine, Tichota scored 11 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, dished out nine assists and had three steals. She did this all while going just 2-for-13 from the field. On the season, she leads the Chieftains with averages of 14.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 3.5 steals.

Mylee Tichota Mylee Tichota 5'10" | PG Yutan | 2026 State NE , to my understanding, is still uncommitted for her college future and I don’t understand it. This is a 5’10 PG, that moves well for her size, she can control pace of play, while being her team’s main producer on both sides of the ball. Over her career she has been a staple for the Yutan program in Nebraska as they have won a lot of games so I’m not sure what is happening. In Tichota’s game on Tuesday evening, she finished with a team high 26 points on over 50% shooting from all over the court. She also registered 7 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 assists in her efforts – demonstrating that she is more than just a scoring threat while competing. All in all, there is a lot to like about Tichota as a hooper. If she keeps this up throughout the season, I’m sure she will be someone we mention again in the near future moving into the Post season.
