One of the most talented players in the state. She has a ton of talent and athletic ability. Along with her size, she has the ability to run the floor and handle the ball if she needs to. She can make shots from way beyond the arc, and score inside with her size and quickness. She has great footwork and coordination for a player her size. She is a rare find in high school basketball.

She’s not an underclassman, but needed to be included in this article. Already a top 5 player in her class within the state and already committed to play at Washington State University next year, Jenna is just having fun her senior year in hopes to end her career with holding the state title trophy. Arlington had a big win over Cedarcrest where Jenna dropped 31 points including a staggering 8 three pointers on the night. She’s going to have a FANTASTIC senior year.

She was dominant last season being named league MVP and helping her team to an undefeated league season, district championship and 3rd place at state. She averaged 21 points and 9.5 rebounds a game. She is active and moves well for her size. She can hit shots from inside and out. She can pressure the ball at the top of the press which speaks to her athletic ability. She has a soft touch from anywhere on the floor and should be in the running for 3A player of the year.

We’re starting off with one of the most highly rated guards in the state, Jenna Villa Jenna Villa 6'1" | SF Arlington | 2023 State WA . The WSU commit is a special player who, at 6’2, is a presence both in and around the hoop as well as from the perimeter. She can stroke the ball with ease, is a strong rebounder, and is a gifted passer too. Her height probably plays into her passing ability, as she has great vision of the court whether it’s from up top, the high post, or working down low. She finds those passing lanes and her ability to both pass and shoot makes her a dynamic offensive player and a tough matchup for opposing players.

Jenna and Arlington HS are looking to build off their 3rd place finish in the state tournament last year. After a loss to Garfield HS in the state semi-finals, they were able to bounce back to beat top ranked Mead HS in the 3rd place game. Villa scores at all 3 levels with ease. Her shot is one of the best in the entire state and her release is ridiculously quick so defenders aren’t able to get out quickly enough. The Washington State commit uses her body extremely well when attacking the rim, being able to finish tough buckets with ease.
