At this point I know what I am going to see when I watch Jermani Govan Jermani Govan 6'0" | PF/C Greater Atlanta Christian | 2026 State GA play. She works as hard as anyone of the court. She uses her size and strength very well in the post. She is a skilled scorer with her left hand and an excellent rebounder. Like, Hemmer, Govan could be solid contributor for the right college program the next four years. She is a natural leader who was vocal during rough stretches for GAC and stayed positive encouraging her teammates. Govan is a very effective scorer inside 12 feet and will need to up her production scoring with the loss of Newman. Something she is more than capable of doing.

A powerful interior presence who leverages her track-and-field background. The discus and shot put standout is super physical on the block, using strong drop steps, decisive footwork, and her elbows to create space. Govan understands how to use her body both when scoring and when carving out rebounding position, making her a tough matchup inside.

She controlled the block with strength, footwork, and scoring with a soft touch. The power forward dominated the 3 x 3 portion of the showcase and did a little of the same in 5 x 5. Govan finished through contact and scored from every area around the paint. Her performance at the Flagler camp was one of the best low post performances of the Fall. This momentum will carry her into the regular season.

She converted consistently in the paint and established herself as an unstoppable interior presence. There wasn’t a player in the building who could match her combination of size, strength, and willpower on the blocks.

Where Govan wanted to go, she went — sealing defenders carving and finishing with authority. She showed soft touch around the rim and proved she could score from either block. Beyond power, Govan displayed good footwork, creating shot opportunities with pivots and drop steps, and finishing through contact. Govan’s performance set the tone for the day and stamped her as one of the clear standouts of the camp.
