Kayden is one of the more underrated point guards in the state in the 2028 class. Having watched her play several times with GAC, I know that she plays the game with an intelligence and maturity beyond her years. No matter the setting the smooth southpaw always performs well and Sunday was no different. David does all the things a coach wants their lead guard to do- push the ball when the numbers are in their favor but have the patience to pull the ball out when an easy bucket isn’t available. She doesn’t pound the basketball or waste dribbles, instead gets the ball where it should go on time and target. Kayden is a very good finisher at the rim and shooter from the perimeter. Her decision-making is what I like the most about her game. She did an excellent job getting Power Four prospect and high school teammate, Peyton Frazier Peyton Frazier 6'3" | PF GAC | 2029 State GA , the ball at UGA team camp when I saw them play this Summer. If teams chose to leave her to double or gave too much help, then she punished them by putting the ball in the basket effectively and efficiently herself. She will be a very good player in college.

Kayden is a player that I have been a big fan of her game for a while now. She is fundamentally very sound, but has a lot of skill and does not mind showing it off with a little flair. David was excellent at camp both scoring the ball and finding her very talented teammates Milan Johnson Milan Johnson 5'9" | SF/PG Greater Atlanta Christian | 2027 State GA and Peyton Frazier Peyton Frazier 6'3" | PF GAC | 2029 State GA . She played with energy and enthusiasm while showing off her handle and some slick, smooth finishes at the rim. She has a lot of game and a lot of self belief, which I think could really help bring more confidence to her talented team. Kayden can score from all three levels and is an excellent passer of the basketball. As talented as Milan and Peyton are, they are not as outgoing as David is on the court which I think gives her a great opportunity to help lead this team not only with her play and swagger, but vocally as well.

Kayden is a player who I have thought highly of for awhile. David, whose fundamentals are very sound, plays the game with calm and patience. She does a good job picking her spots to attack on offense and doesn’t let the defense speed her up. She is another player who has had to step up due to an injury as GAC’s very talented sophomore guard Barri Newman Barri Newman 5'9" | SF GAC | 2028 State GA is out for the season. In round one, David had a solid, impressive stat line finishing with 13 points, eight steals, and five assists. This could and should be a glimpse into the future for the young guard who has the ability to provide that kind of production on nightly basis the next couple years for GAC.

The freshman made her biggest impact defensively. Kayden was able to hustle her way into stops, finishing with 2 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist and 4 blocks. As the southpaw gets more comfortable scoring the ball, expect her production to uptick even more. She dumped in a floater for her lone basket.
