Defensively Joelle is one of the better players in her county. She has excellent timing to block shots and quick hands to snatch up loose balls. She is a solid rebounder with good lateral movement. She has really quick reaction time in recognizing the situation and releasing the pass after a steal.

She has great size and length, which enables her to not only defend the paint, but control the boards. She has good range and a smooth shot from the perimeter with range. In fact, while I saw her handle business around the rim, she then stepped out and dropped a couple of long range shots. Definitely a player to keep an eye on going forward.
