made a strong impact at the JSE Team Camp, showing why she continues to be one of the more reliable guards in Louisiana’s 2028 class. The 5’5” Natchitoches Central point guard brought energy, toughness and winning plays to the floor, especially in a key showing against Northside where she proved to be the X-factor for her team.
McDaniel played with an aggressive approach and made her presence felt in several areas of the game. She attacked the glass hard, competed for rebounds and consistently found ways to create extra possessions. Her willingness to mix it up on the boards gave her team added energy and showed the kind of toughness coaches love to see from a guard.
Offensively, McDaniel was effective around the rim. She finished plays inside, attacked openings with confidence and made the most of her opportunities in the paint. She did not shy away from contact and played with a determined mindset whenever she got downhill.
Her defense also stood out. McDaniel was strong on the ball, stayed active in front of her matchup and made life difficult for opposing guards. She competed with intensity, moved well laterally and brought the kind of pressure that can change the flow of a game.

, a point guard for Natchitoches Central High School, wears number 24 for the Lady Chiefs and is a member of the class of 2028. She is currently ranked 24th in her position and 65th in the state of Louisiana. Jordan has significantly developed her game over the years. In her most recent game, she achieved 18 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 6 steals, and 1 block. Jordan possesses an excellent shot and demonstrates confidence when shooting. While she excels on offense, she is equally formidable on defense, employing a lockdown style that forces turnovers or allows her to steal the ball from opposing key players. In my assessment, Jordan’s defensive prowess is her strongest asset on the court.

Jordan has settled into her game and is a high-level two-way player. She has a strong frame that allows her to finish through contact. She is a high IQ player on both sides of the ball, grabbing steals and consistently making the right play in transition. McDaniel will be a player to watch heading into District because of her obvious game impact.
