The JSE Team Camp brought together some of Louisiana's hungry young talent, and several prospects made sure their names were heard loud and clear. From high-energy guards to physical frontcourt players, the gym was filled with players competing, producing and proving they are prospects worth tracking moving forward.

This was not just about putting up numbers. The players who stood out made noise with effort, toughness, leadership and the ability to impact winning. They defended, rebounded, communicated, pushed the pace and stepped up when their teams needed momentum.

The guard play was one of the biggest highlights of the event. Several ball handlers showed the ability to control the tempo, attack the basket and create scoring opportunities for teammates. They played with confidence under pressure, made sharp decisions and kept defenses on their heels. When shots were available, they knocked them down. When driving lanes opened, they attacked with purpose.

On the wings, prospects showed versatility and toughness. They were active in transition, defended multiple positions and found ways to contribute without needing every play called for them. Their ability to score, rebound and defend made them valuable pieces for their teams throughout the camp.

The frontcourt players also made their presence felt. They battled in the paint, finished around the rim and controlled the glass on both ends. Several young posts protected the basket, challenged shots and created second-chance opportunities with strong rebounding effort. Their physicality and activity gave their teams a major boost.

What made the JSE Team Camp stand out was the competitive energy. Players were not just showing up to be seen—they were competing to separate themselves. Every game brought new names, new moments and new performances that caught attention.

Some prospects made noise with scoring. Others did it with defense, hustle plays, rebounding or leadership. But the common theme was simple: they found a way to impact the game.

The future of Louisiana girls basketball continues to look strong, and the JSE Team Camp gave another clear reminder of how much talent is developing across the state. These prospects are growing, gaining confidence and learning how to produce against strong competition.

The buzz is real.

The names are starting to circulate.

And after their performances at JSE, these prospects proved they are not waiting for attention—they are earning it.

JSE Team Camp was loaded with rising talent, and the players who made serious noise left the gym with their stock moving in the right direction.

Did you miss my most recent article?
Tap in using the link below and stay updated on the latest evaluations, rankings, and rising prospects.

Follow me on Instagram or X: @CoachLathan

https://prepgirlshoops.com/2026/06/jse-team-camp-underclassmen-building-serious-buzz/

JSE Showcase: Frontcourt Prospects Who Raised Their Stock

Buckets on Display: Elite Scorers Take Over the JSE Showcase

JSE Team Camp- Top Standout Performers | Prep Girls Hoops

[player_tooltip player_id='1318238' first='Jordan' last='McDaniel'] | 5'5” Point Guard | Natchitoches Central | Class of 2028

[player_tooltip player_id='1318238' first='Jordan' last='McDaniel'] made a strong impact at the JSE Team Camp, showing why she continues to be one of the more reliable guards in Louisiana's 2028 class. The 5'5” Natchitoches Central point guard brought energy, toughness and winning plays to the floor, especially in a key showing against Northside where she proved to be the X-factor for her team.

McDaniel played with an aggressive approach and made her presence felt in several areas of the game. She attacked the glass hard, competed for rebounds and consistently found ways to create extra possessions. Her willingness to mix it up on the boards gave her team added energy and showed the kind of toughness coaches love to see from a guard.

Offensively, McDaniel was effective around the rim. She finished plays inside, attacked openings with confidence and made the most of her opportunities in the paint. She did not shy away from contact and played with a determined mindset whenever she got downhill.

Her defense also stood out. McDaniel was strong on the ball, stayed active in front of her matchup and made life difficult for opposing guards. She competed with intensity, moved well laterally and brought the kind of pressure that can change the flow of a game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1318238' first='Jordan' last='McDaniel']'s JSE Team Camp performance was built on toughness, effort and impact. Dorsey played with confidence, energy and a high-impact style that made her one of the difference-makers on the floor.

Offensively, Dorsey was difficult to slow down. She scored at will, attacked opportunities with purpose and consistently found ways to put pressure on the defense. Her ability to finish plays and produce in key moments gave Jena a reliable scoring option throughout the game.

Dorsey also made a major impact on the boards. She used her length, quickness and timing to collect defensive rebounds and help end possessions. Once she secured the ball, she quickly turned defense into offense, pushing the pace and creating transition opportunities for herself and her teammates.

Her length and athleticism stood out throughout the matchup. Dorsey covered ground well, competed with toughness and showed the ability to affect the game in multiple areas. She was not just scoring—she was rebounding, running the floor and helping set the tone for Jena's tempo.

[player_tooltip player_id='1875267' first='Ahja' last='Dorsey'] was huge for Jena at the JSE Team Camp. Noel | 5'10” | Beau Chene | Class of 2027

Victoria J. Noel turned in a powerful all-around performance at the JSE Team Camp, showing why she is such a unique and valuable prospect in Louisiana's 2027 class. With her length, athleticism and versatility, Noel impacted the game in multiple ways and gave Beau Chene a major advantage on both ends of the floor.

Noel was dominant in the paint, where she scored with confidence and made life difficult for defenders around the rim. She finished strong inside, stayed active on the glass and consistently created second-chance opportunities for her team. Her presence in the lane gave Beau Chene a reliable interior option throughout the day.

Defensively, Noel was just as impressive. She used her length and timing to block multiple shots, protect the rim and alter offensive possessions. Her activity around the basket made her a true defensive anchor, and she consistently helped erase mistakes with her shot-blocking ability and rebounding effort.

What makes Noel especially intriguing is her versatility. Even with her ability to dominate inside, she also showed the ball-handling skills and court vision to help take pressure off her guards. She was comfortable handling the ball, making reads and contributing as a playmaker when needed. That blend of size, athleticism and skill is what separates her and makes her such a difficult matchup.

Noel also played with a high basketball IQ, understanding when to attack, when to protect the rim and when to help her team by making the right read. She did not just rely on athleticism—she played with purpose and control.

Victoria J. Noel was a force at the JSE Team Camp. She dominated the paint, protected the rim, rebounded with purpose and flashed the skill set of a versatile playmaker. Her performance showed exactly why she is a 2027 prospect that deserves serious attention.

[player_tooltip player_id='962089' first='Davelyn' last='Richard'] | 5'10” SF/PF | Barbe | Class of 2027

[player_tooltip player_id='962089' first='Davelyn' last='Richard'] put together a strong all-around showing at the JSE Team Camp, proving why she is one of Louisiana's top prospects in the 2027 class. The 5'10” Barbe standout impacted the game in multiple ways, using her versatility, length and aggressive approach to create problems on both ends of the floor.

Richard showed the ability to do a little bit of everything offensively. She attacked the basket hard, got to her spots and finished well around the rim. She also displayed touch in the midrange and proved she can stretch the floor from the perimeter, including a big shooting performance against Airline where she knocked down multiple threes. Her scoring versatility makes her a difficult matchup because she can hurt defenses inside, from the midrange and from beyond the arc.

She also brought a physical presence on the glass. Richard crashed the boards with purpose, battled for rebounds and consistently created extra opportunities for her team. Her motor and willingness to compete inside added another layer to her impact.

Defensively, Richard was just as impressive. She stayed active, used her length well and made life difficult for opposing players. Her activity in passing lanes and ability to cover ground gave opponents very little room to operate, and her presence made it tough for teams to make clean passes or get comfortable offensively.

What stands out most about Richard is her versatility. She has the size to play multiple positions, the aggressiveness to attack, and the skill set to score in different ways. That complete package was on full display at JSE.

[player_tooltip player_id='962089' first='Davelyn' last='Richard'] showed exactly why she is one of the top names in Louisiana's 2027 class. She scored it, defended it, rebounded it and brought the kind of two-way impact that keeps her stock moving up.

[player_tooltip player_id='1278409' first='Kennedi' last='Turner'] | 5'10” SF/SG | Prairieville High School | Class of 2028

[player_tooltip player_id='1278409' first='Kennedi' last='Turner'] made a strong impression at the JSE Team Camp, showing why she is one of the more intriguing prospects in Louisiana's 2028 class. The 5'10” Prairieville standout brought a versatile game to the floor, proving she can impact the action both inside and on the perimeter.

Turner's ability to score at multiple levels stood out throughout the event. She used her size well around the basket, finishing inside and making defenders feel her presence in the paint. At the same time, she showed that she is much more than just an interior player. Turner was comfortable stepping out, facing up and using her size advantage on the perimeter to create matchup problems.

What makes her game so valuable is that inside-outside versatility. She can punish smaller defenders with her physicality near the rim, while also using her length and developing perimeter skill set to stretch the floor and create offense in different ways. That combination makes her a tough cover and gives her the kind of scoring upside coaches love to work with.

Turner also plays with a physical, competitive approach. She understands how to use her frame, embraces contact and brings an aggressive mentality that allows her to affect the game in more than one area. Her style of play gives her the tools to be productive whether she is attacking in the half court or making plays in open space.

[player_tooltip player_id='1278409' first='Kennedi' last='Turner'] showed at JSE that she is a matchup problem with real versatility. Her size, inside-out scoring ability and aggressive approach make her a 2028 prospect whose stock should continue to rise.

The JSE Team Camp brought together some of Louisiana's hungry young talent, and several prospects made sure their names were heard loud and clear. From high-energy guards to physical frontcourt players, the gym was filled with players competing, producing and proving they are prospects worth tracking moving forward.
