is going to be running Track at the University of Nebraska for her collegiate career but that doesn’t mean that she can’t put together a Senior season to remember. Metzler is the do-it-all type of guard for her teams. She is at her best when the ball is in her hands to lead her offense or when the ball is rotated to her for an open shot with some space. Either way, in these situations Metzler makes it happen. To kick off this season, Metzler has done exactly what you would expect. She is scoring in waves from all three levels on offense, causing chaos defensively, and she is competing at a high rate from start to finish. When you watch a player for a long enough time, you can tell what attitude they have going into different types of contests and the attitude that Metzler has never changes. She wants to win and she will do anything to make that happen for herself and the teammates around her. I think this speaks, not only to her skill on the hardwood but her outlook on competing in general. You can tell that she wants nothing more then to be successful and that is something that everyone can respect.

. Metzler is a quick handling point guard with elite speed and change of direction. She really knows how to handle the ball, when to change how fast she is going, and when to hesitate to shoot VS when to hesitate to drive. Along with this she has a beautiful three point shot that goes in quiet a lot and from usually pretty far away. You can tell that over the years she has really locked into her shot and perfected it, especially in those catch and shoot situations that often arise against a zone. On defense she has nice instincts while guarding the ball and gets her hands on a good amount of tips/deflections. This is on full display when her team turns up the pressure and brings a press. Overall Jordan is a vocal leader, who leads from the from. Something every coach wants in their point guard.
