With major offers already rolling in, her combination of size, shooting and scoring instincts makes her one of the state’s premier young prospects.

I had seen Jordyn two or three times this spring with Sandy Creek at the Milton Summer League on Tuesdays in June and knew she was as good as advertised, which is saying something for a kid who is a household name in the state already without attending one class in high school. Against Morrow Avila finished the game with 15 points, going a perfect 9-9 from the free throw line in her first game of the event on Friday night. In game two versus an excellent McEachern team with very good guards, Jordyn scored 28 points including four three point shots made. Her poise and calm under pressure in the toughest bracket against the best teams there was validation that she is without question one of the very best 2030s, not just in Georgia, but in America. Those two in particular were a fantastic combination that looked like they had been playing together for years. For Jordyn, it’s all about patience, efficiency, and a great decision making for such a young player that is so impressive. She is unbelievably skilled, but is already thinking on a very high level when it comes to in game decisions in real time. When the rankings come out at the end of July, she will be at or near the very top.

Jordyn is a young guard who plays at a very advanced level for her age. She plays with confidence and is very comfortable when she attacks the rim. She is a natural scorer. She can create her own shot and is very effective at separating herself from defenders. She understands the importance of spacing and can determine when to score and when to move without the ball. Jordyn is very quick and has a high basketball IQ. She is not afraid to be in the big moment, knowing she is very young.

If you don’t know who Jordyn is now from her viral clips on Instagram, then you will soon enough. I have had the privilege of watching her work the last year or so up close and personal at training sessions with my daughter at Pitts Academy. The growth I have seen in such a short amount of time would be shocking if I did not see how hard she works with my own eyes. She will be near or at the very top of the 2030 rankings in Georgia that are releasing in a month. She is a generational talent who is excelling on the highest of levels playing two years up with AEBL. Her size and skill would lead you to believe that she is not only playing with her correct age group, but that she is the best player on the floor more often than not. She performed very well throughout the tournament dominating stretches while still be unselfish and not forcing shots. Jordyn has enough hype around her, so I do not want to add to it, but she could be one of the better players I have ever seen if she continues to work hard and keep a good head on her shoulders.
