About Jordyn
Expert Analysis
Brandon Bradley | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Over the last couple of years, Jordyn has greatly improved her understanding of the game, and she has worked hard on her offensive skillset. She has always been a tremendous athlete who can run and jump with any posts in this class. She plays hard, uses her length well, plus she has enough strength to battle bigger prospects. She still needs more consistency scoring the ball, but she is a major defensive/rebounding presence, plus she still has a great deal of room to grow her game.

Over the last couple of years, Jordyn has really put in the work, and it’s starting to pay dividends for her. She transferred into Zionsville from Pike as a Junior, and she has been a really nice reserve this season for the Lady Eagles. She has a long, wiry-strong frame, some strength, and a quiet toughness. She moves very well around the floor, can run and jump well, and she will occasionally have a “wow” moment athletically. She’ll need to continue building her skillset, but she has a lot of physical tools to work with, plus she’s a capable defender who can rebound and block/alter shots.

Jordyn is an athletic frontcourt prospect with a ton of upside/potential for the next level. She has a long, athletically strong frame, she runs the floor well, and she has bounce in her game. She has always been more of a defensive/rebounding type of prospect around the paint, but over the last 12-18 months you can really see her starting to understand offensive post play, attempting more structured post-moves and counters. She still needs to become a little more instinctual down low, but her recent progression is very encouraging.

Jordyn put together a nice July in front of college coaches, and she could be a real x-factor off the bench for the Lady Eagles this season. She has an athletically strong frame, nice length, and she moves well in most directions, including being somewhat bouncy. She plays with a nice motor, battles for rebounds, whether boxing out or chasing them down, and she has really started to develop a more consistent and complete offensive skill package. Her athleticism also allows her to be a versatile defender.

Jordyn began in the Pike system but moved into Zionsville last year. She has shown a great deal of improvement over the last 12-18 months, and she’s starting to get colleges to take notice. She has nice length, an athletically strong frame, plus she runs the floor well North/South and has some bounce to her as well. Offensively, she still needs a little skill work and to make her post-moves more instinctive, but she uses her athleticism to her advantage. Defensively, she’s a nice rebounder and an effective shot-blocker.
