About Josie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Defense first with hustle and grit.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love to play the defensive end of the game. You can see this in my stats for steals, blocks, and rebounds. My Hustle speaks for itself. My stats offensively show I am a true team player and work at always pushing the ball forward. My mentality as a player a player is that basketball is a team sport. I don't want or need the spotlight on me but I definitely want the spotlight on my team.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Student Council, Church Youth group.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Basketball has taught me how important communication is, both within the team and with the coaches. I have a positive attitude both on and off the court. I alsoam active in my community, with student council and helping my parents with Jaycees Club

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Confidence in myself is my biggest challenge.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to be a athletic trainer and physical therapist. I want a university that offers both bachelors and masters degree in this field.
