Josi is a big body who fills up Bottineau’s 1-3-1 half-court zone defense. She plays the position well, which requires high basketball IQ. She must adjust her positioning depending on where the ball is on the floor, always staying between the ball and the basket. She must plug up drives and rotate out on short corner girls. She does a nice job of allowing her teammates to be aggressive in their trapping knowing that they have Josi to back them up at the rim.
