Lees-McRae in North Carolina and Agnes Scott College in Georgia both offered Workman, but she announced roughly two months ago that it would be North Greenville where she would play her collegiate basketball. Her final season on the AAU circuit was spent with Upward Stars Upstate 2023. There will be even more of a focus on Workman as the leader of this season’s Rebels rendition with Savannah Porterfield having graduated. Workman earned all-Region honors last season. She can play as either a two or three, can create additional possessions for her team with her defense and uses her 5-foot-11 frame to her advantage particularly when crashing the boards.

Late last month, Workman added that she will keep her red, but trade in her Rebels blue for North Greenville University black as she has committed to the Crusaders. She spent the grassroots season with Upward Stars 3SSB 2023. Her versatility proves to be a major asset as someone who can play as either a small forward or as a shooting guard. At 5-foot-11, she pulls down rebounds and can win her fair share of battles on the boards. Defensively, she can create additional possessions for her team. Workman will be a focal point for this season’s rendition of the 5A Rebels.

With the graduation of Savannah Porterfield, it creates an opening for Workman to take on an even greater leadership role as she steps into her senior campaign at 5A Byrnes. As someone who can play at either the two as a shooting guard or the three as a small forward, she showcases how her versatility is a major asset. Her 5-foot-11 stature comes into play particularly when grabbing rebounds and she can create additional possessions for her team with her defense. Workman participated in AAU ball with Upward Stars Upstate 2023 – the team that used to operate at Carolina Aces. Workman recently announced her commitment to the Crusaders of North Greenville University.
