Expert Analysis

Joslyn came to play in the Spring & Summer of 2024 and continued her strong play this Winter. She is a highly capable scorer from all three levels, plus she can create for herself or teammates. She is tough, physical, and aggressive, and she has drawn quite a bit of small college interest. I’ve heard a few school names she is considering, but I also think there is still some interest on her part to find the “right fit”, so she is open to hearing from new schools as well. If you need a tough combo guard who can fill it up at times, look her up.

Joslyn has been strong all Spring, and she continued that play Thursday with great consistency. She shot the ball well from the perimeter, handled pressure with poise and control, plus she showed athleticism getting to the basket and at the defensive end of the floor. Her development from being more of a small forward early in her career to a point/combo guard now has been one of the most notable transformations this Spring, and coaches are taking notice.

Joslyn is one of those kids who has really stood out on a consistent basis all Spring. You can tell there is a level of urgency for her, as she has been dialed in each time I’ve seen her. She has been an absolute playmaker, whether that be in the halfcourt or in transition, and whether she is looking to score it herself or find open teammates. She has knocked down shots, finished through contact, and found her friends through the smallest of windows.

Each time I have seen Joslyn so far this Spring, she has been all over the place constantly creating offense, whether for herself or teammates. She has length, speed, and she plays with a competitive fire. Her pull-up game has improved quite a bit, and she has really worked to make herself quicker and more explosive. I really like some of the things she’s doing as a scorer. If she can mix in a little more creativity and facilitate a bit more, I think she could be a nice combo guard for the next level. She also has the talent that, when she shows the urgency, she can defend rather effectively.
