Journie Johnson Journie Johnson 5'10" | SF Northwestern | 2030 IN brought energy and intensity on both ends of the floor this past weekend. Defensively, she was active and disruptive, constantly around the ball and forcing tough plays for opponents. Offensively, Johnson continues to elevate her game with improved consistency as a three-level scorer. She attacked the rim with control, showing the ability to finish through contact or make smart reads to find open teammates. With one more year before entering high school, Johnson’s combination of scoring ability and defensive presence will make her a valuable addition to the Northwestern girls basketball program next season.
