Tenison stood out amongst her peers with excellent ball-handling skills that helped her maneuver the defense successfully and score at the basket. She demonstrated a variety of finishes at the rim, executing a crafty scoop layup to avoid shot blockers, followed by a clean runner in the lane. In addition to her ability to score on the move, she showed that she can shoot from beyond the arc by sinking a three-pointer. She paired this production with strong rebounding to secure possessions and solid defense.

Tenison has exceptional anticipatory instincts, allowing her to generate live-ball steals and clean blocks. On offense, she moved effectively to create several good looks at the basket. She was active on defense and contributed to her team’s overall effort every time she played.

Tenison left me with a lasting first impression because she “never took a play off” on defense, and watching her create HAVOC forced a few turnovers. On the flip side, she created her shot and dropped the mid-to-long-range; her catch-and-shoot looked good, and she also did a nice job scoring off the dribble, with solid body control on her finishes

Tenison has a real subtleness to her game, meaning she is doing a lot of difficult things on the court while making it look simple. It starts with an effortless shot from outside. She can either shoot off the catch or use a strong crossover to go into a quick release three-point shot. Tenison is a freshman that I expect to make an immediate impact for the varsity team in the upcoming season.
