Shepard is also a player who can take over games with her perimeter shot. She had several games with two or more made 3-pointers last season, including an outing against Cherokee High School where she made seven 3-pointers.

Shepard, also unlike a lot of sharpshooters at the SG position, can shoot off the dribble effectively. One action she likes to generate 3-pointers off of is just bringing the ball up the court. If a defender gives her space at the top of the key, she is not afraid to let a shot fly and make the defense pay.
