Townsend’s hustle provides Ralston Valley with tons of second chance opportunities, leading to a higher scoring efficiency each possession. Townsend was knocking down close range shots that pitched in for Ralston’s win.

Townsend will play a key role for Ralston Valley, through her post passing and impactful interior defense. At roughly 6’2, she brings excellent size in the frontcourt, capable of matching up with the state’s most imposing frontcourt opponents. Playing alongside many smart cutters, she has found success sending bounce passes or overhead passes on the dot, setting up teammates with optimal looks at the basket. Her continued production from the post will be an area worth following, given the advantages she poses early on.
