, and she did it as a freshman. Leading Crane to an undefeated record and a state championship, Siegner put up numbers all season that are difficult to believe like her 29 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals against North Douglas in the state championship game. Although listed as a power forward, at 5’9, Siegner plays all over the floor, 1-5, for the Mustangs and has the size and athleticism to do so, as well as the ball skills. There is very little weakness in Siegner’s game and as long as she is there, Crane will be a tough team to beat. She is one that college coaches absolutely should keep an eye on.

was another unanimous first team all-tournament selection and the only freshman to make either of the all-tournament teams. This choice was a no-brainer after the freshman campaign that Siegner has had and the weekend that she had in Baker City. Siegner outscored all other players in the tournament — with the closest one nearly 30 points behind — averaging 25.7 points per game across the three games. She did this shooting over 53% from the field (26-49) and over 61% from three (11-18). She also led all players in rebounds with 12.0 boards per game to go along with 1.7 assists and 3.7 steals per game. She is a scary prospect in 1A with three more years in her career.

has already established herself as one of the top players in the state for the next four years. The 5’10 athlete scored led the way, scoring 25 points in the second round of the tournament to go along with 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 steals. This is after a jaw-dropping freshman season averaging 21.4 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 4.9 steals per game that is likely to earn her 1A state player of the year honors come season’s end. She and #1-seeded Crane are the heavy favorites to come away with a state title next weekend.

is one of the premier basketball talents in the state, and what she is doing as only a freshman is hard to believe. Siegner is currently sixth overall — and the highest ranked freshman by quite a bit — in the state across all classifications in points per game with an average of 20.4 points per game, and sits just outside the top 10 in rebounds with 9.9 per game. To be averaging numbers like these, she has already proven her ability to dominate her opponents and take over any basketball game that she’s playing in. This is obvious even just from watching film of her in which she looks like she is on a whole other level. In two of Crane’s most recent games, Siegner had 19 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 steals, and 1 block against Imbler, and a jaw-dropping 26 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists, 5 steals, and 2 blocks against Trinity Lutheran. Her relentless rebounding is inspiring to watch, she has excellent court vision, and she can score from anywhere on the floor, even beyond the arc. We will be hearing the name
