Coleman was, how can I say this, electrifying and filled with potential when I first saw her initially see evaluation here so I was shocked, see how tied that in when I caught back up with her, first as a guest player during the LIVE period and then at the CAMP see evaluations here but one thing that truly impressed me is that she’s understanding how and when to take the game over, plus her upside is high

Coleman made her presence felt with lockdown, highly aggressive defense both on the perimeter and in the paint. She completely disrupted opposing ball-handlers, dictated the pace of the game, and flashed great touch around the rim by turning a defensive stop into a smooth scoop layup. Coleman is a tremendous, high-energy defender whose relentless effort and skill set will undoubtedly translate to the next level.

Coleman sold me the first time I saw her because I saw the UPSIDE, yet catching up with her over the past few months, all bets are off see evaluations here. Her explosiveness off the dribble, as well as in the air, makes her a threat with that alone, and seeing her finish acrobatically after contact is special. Her EURO looked good, and so did her defense, including playing the passing lane

Coleman’s nickname is CHEESE, which is perfect, as she smiles and explodes past defenders to finish however she wants, including acrobatically. She guest-played at the Super 64 see evaluation here, and after seeing her potential last season; see evaluation here I knew she was onto something. As smooth as she was offensively, her picking pockets and playing the passing lane for steals spoke volumes, as did her timing and jumper

Coleman left me somewhat speechless with her ability to maneuver past defenders to score off the dribble last season see evaluation here, but peep this: her “on the court” progression at the Super 64 this July earned her my PLAYER SPOTLIGHT see evaluation here

Coleman is a “long and athletic” guard who is not only a new face to me, but she just joined a new team, and observing what she’s doing right now has me thinking about her upside. She does things instinctively, a perfect example was showing the crossover and going between her legs while going full speed in transition to score. She gave me the “catch and shoot” and played solid “on the ball” defense
