About Kalei

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am very coachable. I am a team player. I am hard working and deduct to my teams success. When I am picked into the game I am very competitive.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very laid back and easy going. I am a natural leader. I like to have fun and play basketball. I am very loyal.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received high honor roll certificates and awards. I have had the opportunity to volunteer and perform as the The Hawk mascot For Hunter Jr High when I am not playing basketball. I look for to joining more clubs in highschool.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a loyal, kind, caring and dedicated individual. I bring all of those energies when I play. I look forward to more service projects when I start highschool.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The main challenge I face is living in an area of Utah that does not have productive youth or High school basketball programs bantam and club ball. We drive 30 + minutes each way to practice and games.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to play out of state at a school that has a good basketball and academic program. I would like to work with coaches who are passionate about coaching their student athletes.

She currently leads the team in assists and points scored, a remarkable accomplishment for a freshman. West Jordan will be battling for 2nd place in region play, and Makakona could be a key piece for them to achieve that.
