Kaliyah Lopez looked good playing the point guard spot and showed some comfort running the offense. She made some good reads while also finding opportunities to create for herself when they were there.

Lopez has made noticeable strides since the winter season, especially with her finishing around the rim. Her length and long arms let her poke the ball away when opponents try a crossover, turning defense into easy buckets. Her defense will be her calling card, and it should ignite her transition offense when her team presses. Lopez is part of a strong freshman class for Kent Denver.
