Vijay had a solid Showcase performance and looked comfortable in the scrimmage setting. She flashed her ability to drive to the basket as well as knock down some open outside jumpers. Known as an aggressive, shoot-first point guard, it was a pleasant surprise to see her make several nice passes to set up her teammates. The incoming freshman will be expected to carry a heavy scoring load for Kent Denver this season.
