led the Apollos in scoring with 15 points in 3 quarters at the Lakeridge Jamboree. The 5-foot-4 point guard is strong on the drive with great handles and vision. She had a quick first step on the perimeter and attacked the rim through traffic. She effectively spun and euro-stepped in the paint. She consistently pushed the pace on the bounce in transition and found the pass or went coast to coast for the layup. Most of her points were scored at the basket or the free-throw line. She was feeling it in the game against Cleveland and hit a deep step-back two late in the shot clock to tally 9 points that quarter. Gallagher has a motor and is one to watch in the competitive Metro League.

is a true point guard who is constantly looking to create and find her teammates wide open opportunities. She is an elite athlete with a seemingly never-ending motor that allows her to set the tone on both ends of the floor. Gallagher is a knockdown shooter who can score in a variety of ways, and she will only continue to get better with more experience.

will be the face of Sunset’s program in the coming years as their point guard. She is a phenomenal athlete who shows flashes of brilliance both while running the point offensively and while showing off her steadfast on-ball defense. Although not always the biggest scorer, Gallagher is the type of player who does the little things consistently and will regularly have nights like her 5 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 assists against Jesuit or her 7 points and 4 steals versus South Salem. She has a nice shot, however, as displayed by her two challenging threes hit off the dribble in the game against Lincoln that led to her 10 points, 2 assists, and 2 steals, and she has all the potential to develop into one of Sunset’s top scorers as she and her confidence continue to grow. With the Apollos’ graduating a hefty senior class at the end of this year, Gallagher will really take the reins in the coming seasons.
