Nelson is a small-school guard from Northwestern Wisconsin. She has the skill to excel against anyone. She isn’t the most explosive athlete you’ll find, but she has one of the best IQs in the 2029 class around the state. She plays with a change of pace and gets to her spots off the dribble. She can manipulate defenses with the ball in her hands.

The Solon Springs guard is a small-school kid from Northwest Wisconsin. She is a skilled ball handler who can knock down shots from the perimeter. I like her poise on the ball and her ability to play through pressure. There is plenty of room for her to grow over the next three years as she plays against better competition.

From Solon Springs, Nelson was electric for Team 4, highly reliable as a ball handler even against full-court pressure. She showed great patience and awareness, finding teammates in stride and keeping the offense moving. Her skill combined with grit gave her team a consistent spark.
