Expert Analysis

Solid kid who is expanding her game. She’s a walking double-double kid, finishing ways to put the ball in the hole along with her ability to grab boards. She’s a tough kid down low, one who isn’t afraid to mix it up and be physical. She’s shown tremendous growth over the early part of her high school career and has done nothing but get better. Keep tabs on this young lady as she is one of the top talented low-post players in the 901 area. If coaches are looking for a workhorse in the middle, this young lady checks that box.

Marsh excelled at all times in the paint area. She has a strong build and works extremely well in the interior post. She is the athlete that will send opponents flying off of a strong set screen. Kallie did an excellent job controlling the boards and providing her team with second chance opportunities. Marsh is a smart athlete and she passes well out of the paint. I love how she gets herself in great spots to score at any time on the low block.

Kallie is going to get rebounds that’s a given. However, what she has to deal with in order to get those rebounds. When you are a double digit rebounder, it commands being double boxed or even possibly triple boxed in Kallie’s case. By my eye test, Kallie isn’t over 6 feet. What she is – strong, determined and relentless – when it comes to getting a board, she is going to fight with one hand or one finger to give her a chance to get a rebound.

Scoring Forward. Kallie was commanding double and triple teaming at the high post area. That’s understandable after having a 29 point game recently. She was able to get a couple of shots off. She knocked down a high post shot. She also had a hook shot right in front of the basket. I have her down with 8 points and 5 rebounds.
