Sainvil is a very physical guard who likes to get downhill. Kam certainly has no problems drawing up contact while on the floor for the SC Eagles . She has thick shoulders to fight off defenders and really likes to mix it up a times with her play. The majority of her points today came going to the basket for her team.

Sainvil may be listed as either a point guard or as a shooting guard, but will have plenty of occasions where she will deliver big plays close to the basket. Sainvil is not afraid to play the game on contact and that fearless mentality will give her team plenty of chances at the free throw line and plenty of opportunities to convert on old-fashioned 3-point plays.

Only two from this year’s roster for FCA SC Eagles 2024 Black are playing up in class. The 5-foot-5 sophomore from 5A Spartanburg is one of those two. Sainvil primarily plays in the backcourt at either of one of the two guard positions. Defensively, she has the ability to create additional possessions for her team with the steals she collects. The ability to make effective transition plays as well as accuracy from 3-point range are other strong points to her overall game. Those steals have the potential to translate to plays where she will deliver strong finishes at the rim.

Sainvil took to the court on 22 occasions last season for Spartanburg and then competed with KST Academy on the AAU circuit. She approaches defense with a heads-up mentality and that enables her to be at the right places at right times to gather steals. Sainvil keeps many a defense on their toes as they are unsure as to if she will attack the rim or dish the rock out to an open teammate. Those defenses are also kept on their toes from Sainvil’s proficiency from behind the 3-point line. She brings an aggressive mentality as well from the start of a game until the moment the final buzzer sounds.

Kam arrived. Kam saw. Kam balled out to put forth a stellar freshman season at 5A Spartanburg. Sainvil competed in 22 contests for the Vikings last season. She plays aggressive from start to finish and has a fearless mindset to want to attack the rim. The 3-point shot happens to be one of Sainvil’s calling cards and defenses can be thrown for a loop when she does attack as they are unsure as to if she will attack the rim or pass to an open teammate. The heads-up mentality she approaches defense with enables her to come away with steals and go the other way with the ball.
