#8 – The only thing holding this girl back is the glut of talent ahead of her on the Morris Catholic roster. That being said, the way she plays she’s tough to keep off the court and that was obvious will playing with the HUrban Legends of NJ this summer. She was playing up on the 17u team at the Run 4 Roses and was scoring in double digits. A strong frame and strong handle, she gets in paint with speed and strength and can finish over people with a nice floater game and by finishing through contact. She is comfortable playing off the ball offensively and her 3-point shot keeps getting better. Defensively, she plays with an attitude and constantly works hard to disrupt opposing offenses. Even with a loaded Morris Catholic team, I’d be surprised if Kamaria wasn’t a key part of the rotation this season.

Playing in their first event as a program, the HUrban Legends of NJ surely got after it at The Clash in Ohio! A player who really stepped up and made a name for herself was 2026 Kamaria Bowens Kamaria Bowens 5'8" | CG Morris Catholic | 2026 NJ . Playing on a superstar-stacked team isn’t easy, but she showed great skill and growth in her game from her freshman season at Morris Catholic to this first grassroots live period. On Saturday, Kamaria had every weapon in her arsenal on full display as she went off for 20 points, leading her team to a 78-66 victory against Sideline Cancer Dynamite. She played with fire, grit and determination on every play. Her defensive intensity was unrelenting and the pressure she put on opponents was absolutely stifling.  Her willingness to crash the boards with the best of ’em all weekend long had scouts admiring her fearless all-court game.

It’s not easy getting minutes behind Mia Pauldo Mia Pauldo 5'7" | CG Morris Catholic | 2025 State NJ and Mya Pauldo Mya Pauldo 5'7" | CG Morris Catholic | 2025 State NJ but when Kamaria does get the ball in her hands good things happen. She made the most of her opportunities as a freshman at Morris Catholic and has taken that development to the AAU circuit. Tough and plays with and edge.  Works very hard on both ends. Puts pressure on the D with her tempo and uses the same motor on the defensive end to disrupt offenses. She makes good decisions when she gets in the paint. She is not afraid to mix it up inside and works hard to attack the boards.
