Brandon Tinnon | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
She’s a Lady Lion with a heart of a warrior. Talk about someone who has battled adversity, this young lady has risen. She is a UTC signee who is averaging 26 points per game. I’ve said it before, but she is a bucket-getter who inflicts total dominance over her opponent. She’s a tough competitor who can create, exploit, and get after it on both ends of the floor. She’s been awesome to cover the last four years and I look forward to seeing big things from this future Lady Moc.

One of the state’s top bucket-getters averaging 26 ppg. Besides scorching the bottom of the net, she is on boards, making timely assists, and contributing on the defensive end. She is a UTC signee who is lighting it up in her senior year.

built to score the ball in girls basketball. She doesn’t have supreme athleticism, but instead relies on her size and a smooth skill set to be able to get her shot off on anyone. She averaged over 27 a game last season, and then dispelled the idea that those numbers were inflated in the private school division by having a tremendous spring/summer with AEBL. She’s committed to play at UTC.
What I really like is how she scores. She’s not really a tremendous 3 point shooter, and instead dominates in the mid area. She only hit 50 threes last season, which is good, but not great. She only had 2 threes in her 40 point game. She’s an old-school scorer that simply knows how to put the ball in the hole.

The big guard fits the AEBL build of having dynamic players with size that can play all over the floor. Wilson got to her left hand when she wanted to, using spin moves to free herself downhill where she could finish through contact for And-1s. The southpaw tallied 9 points, 7 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block. While Wilson is a crafty driver, I think she is at her best when she mixes in her three-ball. A handful of D-I programs have already offered the explosive scorer that averaged 27.2 points per game as a junior.

It’s a big summer for Kami Wilson, as she seeks to prove to college coaches that her 30 points per game average during her junior season is something that can be replicated for better competition. She left the Trotters to go find a home on one of the circuits, and hopefully prove to coaches that she’s a D1 talent.

did this season was remarkable. I know she would rather see wins, but her performances on the court was the best ones to watch! The 5’11 combo guard has D1 offers for a reason! She is unmatched in numerous categories! According to MaxPreps, Kami finished the season averaging 27.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2 steals per game! She broke her schools scoring record in a game this season! What did Nike say, “You break it, you own it.” Wilson is an elite talent that can score from anywhere on the court. She has remarkable court vision and an extremely high IQ!

dropped 39 points on TKA last Thursday. Then scored 27 points in a loss to Grace (Knox) on Friday, and followed that up with 24 versus CAK on Tuesday in a loss. Wilson is clearly one of the best scorers in the state…and now Lakeway must figure out how to turn that into wins (a really tough task given their schedule).
