In her freshman campaign, the young guard was a solid contributor, and has huge long term potential with her size and skill. She’s averaged 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 2.5 steals. Her length makes her a disruptive defender, and she’s an efficient scorer in the paint. She’s had a few big games this season. There’s just no doubt about it, Underwood has all the tools to be a really high level high school player. Mending a broken finger, the freshman guard had an 11 point, 9 rebound, 4 assist, 4 steal performance. She’s been a threat from three all season and only seems to be getting more comfortable and confident as the season progresses.
