Ka’nai had some good moments for Team Thrill. I thought her on ball defense was solid, and she provided some buckets on the other end. She did a good job playing off two feet and elevating over smaller defenders when she had a match up advantage. Her three point shot looked good as well as she knocked down a couple in the game I watched.

Ka’nai is a multi-level collegiate scorer, done best in the mid range with a stop and pop or crossover mid fade away. Her height, allows her to shoot the three with confidence at 37% for the weekend, 35% from the field, and 85% from the line.
Defensively, she is just as effective showing she is also a two-way player converting five steals, two blocks, and grabbing 12 rebounds.
Look for Ka’nai to be top five in scoring this winter for IAAM-A Conference.
