Kara plays alongside one of the state’s best and deepest backcourts at Plainfield High School, so it makes her job that much easier. She is a strong, physical wing/forward who is able to play at all three levels, and she comes up with a lot of “scraps” baskets because of the pressure put on her teammates. She plays with a nice motor, always finds herself in positions for easy baskets, and she plays much bigger than she is defensively and on the boards. She could find college interest as either a ‘3’ or a ‘4’, depending on need.

Kara is a part of a strong youth movement at Plainfield, and she brings a lot of toughness and physicality to the lineup for the Quakers. She has perimeter skill and will likely be a full-time wing long-term at the collegiate level. However, right now, she is a tremendous mid-post scorer and defender, she’s an effortful rebounder, and she is willing to guard multiple positions. She gets inside and mixes it up, but she can also step outside and contain most guards/wings.
