Brandon Tinnon | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
The Northern Kentucky signee will leave her school as the All-Time leading scorer. She averaged 27ppg, 8 rpg, 3 asp, 4 spg, and 2 bpg. She is the complete total package as her body of work elevated those around her. She got after it night in and night out. Scoring it from all 3 levels, her ability to put the ball in the net ranks as one of the top kids in the state. Brings a workmanlike mentality to the floor, as soon as the ball tipped off, she was the conductor on the floor. Her team fed off her energy and opponents struggled to slow her down. This kid is a phenomenal talent who will do great things at the next level.

She’s a scoring machine. Doesn’t matter from where; she shoots it with confidence and consistency, which her ball club feeds off of. Last night, she finished with 25 points, leading her ball club as they advance. The Northern Kentucky signee has had such a tremendous high school career. She plays the game the right way, with a lot of heart and hustle. Look for her to continue to shine and help lead her ball club towards state contention.

Energetic guard who is a Northern Kentucky signee. Has had a stellar career in high school. Here are a few things she has accomplished:
2400+ (and counting) career points
2024 Region MVP
2x All-State team
(and so much more)
This kid can score it as she is averaging close to 27 ppg. However, it’s what she does on the defensive end that impresses me the most. She’s on the boards (averaging close to 9 a game), she gets steals, and she blocks shots. Doesn’t matter the platform, she’s one of the most consistent ones in the state to do so. She’s a ball of energy that just competes. Look for her to go into this postseason looking to help her squad lift the gold ball.

Sensational senior who just competes. An all- around player who is an exceptional athlete, had her game on display as she brought in 25 points, 11 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 assists. The captain of her ball club, this kid is solid on both ends of the floor. Fundamentally sound with a little sauce in her game, Northern Kentucky got a steal in this stud athlete. Look for her to be a major factor this season as she looks to help her ballclub obtain some hardware at the end of the year.

Bystry will go down as one of the most prolific scorers in McMinn Central long history of basketball dominance. She’s perhaps the best scorer in 2A, and is capable of getting hot and having huge runs. Has multiple 40+ point games to her name. She hit 96! threes last season, at 38%. Those numbers are tremendous.
Watch the film and you’ll see one of the fastest releases in TN HS girls basketball. Will pull the trigger off the dibble in the half court or in transition. Also a really nice scorer at the rim. She’ll lead a McMinn Central team hoping to return to the Glass House.

is about to put the state on notice. Just watch. She’s been perhaps the best player on the floor in every game she’s played.
Losing Molly Masingale, she’s about see her usage percentage sky rocket. And she might just average 25.
I have heard Central is just crushing people when Bystry, Masingale, and Reagan Baker share the floor. Her stats from yesterday:
vs Rhea County: 21 points, 5 threes, 8 rebounds
vs a really solid squad from GA: 29 points, 5 threes, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 6 steals

is one of the best ’25 shooters in the state. She’s sitting on D1 offers, and they will continue to rise.
ETA Thunder
’25 Smith is 3-0 at Best of the East, and in win #2 she had 14 points and hit three 3s. In win #3, she hit another 2 threes and added 4 rebounds. Her ability to be a shot maker, rebounder and defender are all already at a collegiate level.

Continues to prove she’s a big time 3 and D wing against top notch competition. Had a 17 point game (5-8 from 3), with 4 rebounds, and 4 steals. Then a 10 point game with 5 rebounds. I think she’ll land in the low D1 area….she’s got a proven track record as a scorer, defender, and rebounder.

? Yes, we have covered her 1,001 times now and deservingly so. She continues to put up big numbers against top tier talent. Whether it’s the Apache, the Miracle, or any other tournament, this one will continue to shoot the lights out! Opposing players and coaches know that she can shoot, but yet she still works hard to get open. She has a super quick release so she doesn’t need much time at all. When I read the stat line from game 2 where she dropped in 22 points on 5-7 shooting from 3, I was not surprised. This is what Karina continues to do. She’s an elite shooter. She’s elite!
