Expert Analysis

Karissa swiped the ball away on defense and dished out an assist to an open teammate in the corner. She got to the nail and had an accurate mid-range pull-up. She drained a deuce up top and drained another with a hand in her face off a DHO in the paint. Karissa got to the rim to score layups and buried a triple from the slot off the dribble. Her length, athleticism, and slashing instincts mixed with a pull-up game should draw attention from college coaches. Karissa was one of two double-digit scorers for the Tars, pouring in 11.

Karissa has length, athleticism, and playmaking instincts that make her a promising prospect. She generates steals, drives to the basket for layups, and drains shots from mid-outside range. I expect her to turn some heads with Ladies F1rst at the Cagers Invitational this weekend and she’s a prospect colleges should prioritize watching.

Karissa has athleticism that stands out, and she made several plays for Ladies F1RST that caught my attention at Legacy tonight. Karissa froze the defender with a shot fake and then blew by for a layup. She knocked down a mid-range jumper after cutting to open space in the middle of the zone and buried another jumper from the free throw line off the dribble. Karissa finished multiple layups and chased down a breakaway on defense to force a missed shot.

Karissa faced a tough opponent at The Compound on Sunday and her determination made a great impression on the court. Her length and quickness create a challenging matchup for opposing guards. Karissa dished a nifty behind-the-back assist, drove middle to score a layup, and buried a deep corner jumper off of a baseline play. She used a quick crossover to blow by a defender for another layup and drilled a corner 3. Karissa is an exciting Anchor Bay prospect to watch.

Karissa is a guard who jumped out with her athleticism at Upside and has she flashed a ton of potential at the event. Karissa pushed herself hard with quick dribbles during the ball-handling segment and had an impressive broad jump. She split defenders off the dribble, pushed the ball with speed in transition, buried a 3-pointer up top off the catch, and added a step-back jumper from the foul line during 5v5.

Lewis looks like she could have a really bright future in the game of basketball. I like the way that she defends, playing the passing lanes and looking to deny the pass. Lewis has a nose for a loose ball and really goes after it. She could put the state on notice at the Top 250.
