Ava has a second gear off the dribble and plays the game extremely fast on both sides of the ball. She has smooth shooting mechanics and buried a three-pointer with confidence off the catch. Ava attacked gaps to earn trips to the free-throw line and switched hands with ease. She causes turnovers with her defensive pressure and creates transition scoring. Ava is an exciting guard to watch and had a solid day for Team 6.

Ava jets around the court and can light up the scoreboard in a hurry with her three-point accuracy. She’s a scrappy defender, a confident ball-handler, and an effective facilitator. Ava penetrates gaps with her dribble and will be a speedy guard to watch at The Expo.

Ava was an impactful playmaker at The Smoke for Michigan Goonies E40 2027. Ava motored down the lane with a determined dribble drive to score an emphatic and-one off two feet–sank her free throw. She used a quick crossover to fly by her defender and made a nice transfer with a high-pick up move to cause a foul. Ava scored another speedy layup off two feet and looked to be in peak form on Saturday.

Ava is an elusive sophomore guard who showed versatility to be excited about at the SVSU MLK Classic. She jumped up to block a shot, secured rebounds, accelerated to score layups with both hands, knocked down a corner jumper, and added a free throw. Her all-around style of play and high effort for Anchor Bay is something I’m excited to see more of during the travel season. Ava chipped in 7 points and 4 rebounds for the Tars.
