Kate is another great role player.  She looks taller and plays bigger than her 5’7 listed height.  I can tell she is a coachable athlete by the way she plays defense in the half-court.  She is in stance, moves on the pass, drops down when the ball is on the opposite side, tags bigs that cut down to the block, and closes back out when the ball is reversed back to her side.  She is a big reason Kindred’s 1-3-1 zone works so well.  She is a capable screener and catches passes with two hands, limiting turnovers for her team.  She is a solid contributor for her team.
