When healthy, Katelyn is a scrappy defender, poised ball-handler, effective passer, and multi-level scorer. Katelyn is a point guard I am excited to see on the court again for Utica.

Utica’s 5’1 Katelyn Shtogrin Katelyn Shtogrin Katelyn Shtogrin 5'1" | PG Utica | 2025 MI is a great option at PG. Katelyn is scrappy and tough enough to take a charge: she has guts. She takes the ball strong to the hole and can finish with both hands shooting a layup or floater. Katelyn uses both hands effectively to create offense for herself and teammates, but don’t sleep on her shooting! She catches and shoots with balance, a quick release, and high finish: knock down 3-point shooter. She has great vision and can find teammates in space and make the accurate pass. She is a fantastic prospect with an endless motor, which is why she could be starting for the East squad. Check out how impressive Katelyn was at the Skillcase Prospect All-Stars Showcase.

This little guard is shifty off the bounce and does an amazing job of slithering into the smallest of openings. Her head movement and change of pace is high level, and she is a menace on strong and weak hand (don’t really know that she does have a weak hand) drives. She rebounds with the fervor of someone eight inches taller and pushes the ball in transition.
