She can defend numerous positions thanks to her length and wingspan. With handles, she anticipates passes well and can easily take the ball coast to coast in transition. In a nutshell, she is smooth. I admire her length and ability to use her width to defend several positions while still controlling the passing lanes. Great footwork around the rim along with good body control. She can rebound the ball effectivly and make the extra pass for her teammates to score. Good inside out player, seals her defender well which makes it easier for her to score. Her style of play is hard to stop. Moved up to #49.

Solid post player on both ends of the court. Able to defend the rim, block and alter shots, aggressive and can lock down the opposing post with her length and physical play. Runs the floor well, good hands and is able to handle the ball in an uptempo game. Has active hands and is able to guard inside or out. Katie debuts in the Top 75 after moving up from the Watch List and has plenty of time to continue to improve her ranking.
